I BOUGHT THIS FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: br>Our cat suffers from separation anxiety, and even when we are at home, she cries a lot for no apparent reason, wandering aimlessly around the house like a cat in heat would, except she is spayed and shouldn't be doing so. Training is also something I strongly recommend because it helped my little guy, but make sure you find a trainer who will be patient and gentle with your dog. You can give it a try you have nothing to lose because the ingredients are all healthy and won't harm him. It doesn't put him to sleep, but it does help him relax. I know, he's strange all he has to do is eat and he'll be fine, but I've tried it and can tell a difference when he's nervous. I use it for another strange phobia he has: he's afraid of having a meltdown when his stomach growls when he's hungry. I've only been using this product for about 6 months, but I haven't used it for when he's afraid of visitors. He gained a lot of confidence as a result of his obedience training. He still won't approach strangers to be petted, but he now comes downstairs, barks at them, and then settles into my lap quietly. I've been doing agility training with him for about four years now, and it's been extremely beneficial to him. It had been about 5 years since this happened. I enrolled him in obedience training, which seemed to help him a little.
I tried Prozac (from a vet) and it basically turned my dog off, so I wouldn't recommend it.
I wasn't a fear biteer, but whenever anyone came over to my house, I would run upstairs and hide under my bed, barking. year- I adopted him from a rescue when he was 5 months old, and he is an old rat terrier/dachshund mix dog. Do you think these would help with her people's fearfulness? Apart from training, the vet informed me that I have a naturally fearful dog.
